Seems like everytime I turn around Karen Corr is winning a billiard tournament. JPNEWT had their first event of the year and Karen Corr came out victorious. It wasn’t a n easy task though, as Corr found herself on the losers side thanks to the one Pam Cimarelli. Just like she always does though, Karen battled her way back, exacting some revenge on Pam in the finals. Corr gets the win and Pam gets the qualifier.
The real story though came from the “I’m A Serious Poolplayer” division. Supadra did the unforgivable and bounced Liz Ford to the losers side. She had a pretty solid showing before running into Julie Kelly where she was pounded back into reality 7-1 followed by a 7-2 drubbing by Corr. The other major attendee from the division didn’t do quite as well. Olga went and made Predator proud going two and out, losing 7-3 to Julie Kelly and 7-2 to Morgan Steinman. But she looked wonderful, right?
